At last Sid and Marilyn are finished.

Well  Sid and Marilyn's relationship was doomed from the start, they were never a good match. At last Doctor Dish has faced reality and put an end to it all. Meanwhile his son Dex has actually got together with April, who is a really good match for him, it makes much more sense to see them together than to see April with Xavier, who were another odd couple and not at all suited to each other.
And what's it all got to do with Morag? She seems too disapproving and judgmental. Let Marilyn have a bit of a drunken laugh with Miles and co. everyone else thought she was funny. And why does Roo have to answer to Morag? It's her business what she does.

Marilyn kidnaps baby George

Well Marilyn has finally flipped. She's taken baby George off in his pram with apparantly no luggage or bags or anything. Then she tries to buy plane tickets to London, we presume London, England, and doesn't even think the baby needs a passport. Ooh dear just the thing to get the travel agent suspicious.
I don't fancy her chances with Sid after this, he seems so much more down to earth and grounded in normality. Roo could soon be in with a chance.

John and Xavier get stuck in the mud

I was a bit concerned to see John Palmer stuck in the mud in the middle of nowhere in the national park. It wasn't long ago he had a serious heart attack. What if all that hard work trying to pull the car out of the mud led to another one? Xavier didn't seem too worried and I bet he didn't know how to do CPR either. Thankfully all that happened was a mud fight and then Gina drove up to the rescue.

Was that significant when Roo looked slightly perturbed when John Palmer briefly put his hand on her shoulder, why did she look so alarmed about that? I think Roo is one of the best characters on H and A at the moment.

More funny moments in Summer Bay in Comedy Moment of the Month section. Most of these seem to involve Colleen, can she be beaten as Summer Bay Comedy Queen?

We find out how Brax makes his money

Most people think Nicole will raise her baby as a single mum. Even though at the moment George is with Sid and Marilyn viewers seem convinced Nicole will end up with her own baby. Of course Angus was off the scene a long time ago and he didn't come back. It looked like Nicole was with Angelo and we weren't sure if they would be a couple and get baby George back. But now Angelo has been hit over the head with a spade by Heath and not been heard of since. Just when things were going well for Nicole, Angelo goes missing in very suspicious circumstances. 

Poll results were:

Nicole will give her baby to Marilyn - 11%
Nicole will raise her baby with Angus - 18%
Nicole will raise her baby as a single mum - 69%
She will give the baby to someone else - 2%

So Nicole will either raise her baby as a single mum or with Angelo if he reappears, which we all hope obviously, or maybe she will leave George with Marilyn. We still don't know exactly yet!

But what we do know is that it looks like Brax makes his money from an illegal plantation in the national park. He swears blind to Charlie he is innocent of anything like that, when a few minutes before he was giving orders about what to do with shovels and em Angelo's unconscious body. Oh dear Charlie.

Liam goes off the rails

Liam seems to want to cause havoc at school and everywhere else he can, all because he lost a record contract.

Miles was very blunt when he told Elijah about him and Leah and he's right Elijah has blown his chance. Of course the former minister is not at all happy about this.

Indie does have a point, Romeo does seem a bit weak to just do what her dad tells him. It's like he won't make an effort to get Indie, he's saying Indie come and chase me.

Angelo nearly gets shot

Angelo has a frightening experience in the woods with the Braxton boys, do they actually take a shot pig home and barbecue it. They only nearly shot Angelo by accident then.

Is Charlie getting drawn in and fooled by Brax, what is he really up to?

Nicole needs to make a decision and either try to get her baby back or not see him at all, as she obviously finds it too difficult to be around him (because she wants him back!) It's going to be worse for Marilyn the longer Nicole leaves it.

Summer Bay wins the surf carnival

The surf carnival looked like so much fun, except for John Palmer going on and on at poor old Gary. How impressive Roo was saving Gary after he had his heart attack, or so thought doctor Sid. And heart broken Xavier could barely raise a smile after he won, having had the brush off from Miranda.

They surely should have had an oldies category, and let the likes of Gina and John Palmer himself actually compete, instead of just mouthing off. You could even have an oldie oldies category and let Colleen and Morag have some fun too. Morag needs to let her hair down a bit.

Miles likes to go to the diner for "coffee."

Yes we knew it, along comes Elijah with a bunch of flowers and a declaration of I love you to Leah. You're too late mate you've missed the boat now. Not that anyone would guess as Miles has everything so well disguised with his past time of going to the diner "for a coffee" yes we know what you're really going for. So as long as Leah knows who she wants and sticks to her decision there won't be any problems.

John Palmer is tweeting way above the heads of the usual tweeting crowd, no-one gets his references to the Beach Boys and Jack Kerouac. Great outfits for the surf carnival, looks like that will be lots of fun.

Will Leah chose Miles or Elijah?

I had always thought of Miles and Leah as like brother and sister so this will take some getting used to. Elijah won't like this, he thinks he can just muck Leah around and marry someone else and have her still available for him when it suits him. So good luck Miles, may the best man win!

Marilyn seems to be getting a bit more settled into being a mum. Hurry up Nicole make your mind up before the whole thing gets even more messy. Dex won't know what's happening, one minute he has a brother called George, the next he could be whisked away by his real mum, so this needs to get sorted soon.

Baby George/Ben seems to like his real mum.

It's all a bit fraught in the Walker household, poor Marilyn can't calm baby George, Dex has fallen behind with school work because of the sleepless baby nights and then on top of all that Indie has a terrifying ordeal in the woods.

So baby George/Ben seems much happier with his real mother, he knows where his milk comes from. Now Nicole has to act on how she feels. It won't be easy going through college with a baby, but then perhaps Angelo will whisk her off somewhere, but then what about his restaurant? Anyway Marilyn just doesn't seem too contented with the baby, after all her efforts to get him. Perhaps she knows the baby and Nicole are still joined together by an invisible umbilical cord.

Romeo and Indie could be an item again, but he shouldn't let doctor Sid put him off so much. Take note of Miles' wise words Romeo, you don't want to be drinking coffee at home when you could be drinking it somewhere else!

Ben or George?

Charlie seems to be more and more love struck with Brax, but is she heading for disaster. It did seem logical that the Brax boys were in fact pig shooting out in the bush, but Angelo smells a rat.

Ruby is getting annoying with all this setting up Charlie on a date thing - Charlie's been very patient, even going and sitting in Angelo's restaurant on her own for the evening, a bit strange.

Romeo warned Indie to keep away from that strange Keiran and now it doesn't look good. It might not have been such a good idea for Indie to tell him how she couldn't stand him when he was already in the process of driving her off into the night.

Will the baby end up being named Ben or George?  I think we all prefer Ben, meaning he will end up with Nicole.

Angelo follows Brax down a dark road.

So what did Angelo see last night? A vicious dog and some Braxtons scurrying around in the bush in the pitch black of night. Is poor Charlie just being used? Well it won't work if that's what Brax thinks as she'll turn against him if he's into bad things and she finds out that's for sure. But he may be in love with her, we'll have to see. Does Charlie know Brax has a dog which attacks people for no reason - or rather the reason being the dog is protecting some unlawful goings on.

I hope it's not going to be too predictable what happens with Liam, he says he won't do it again then he does, Bianca gets upset then it's all a mess.

Leah looked a bit disappointed when Charlie and Ruby joked about loving Miles, but not in that way, well Leah you can love Miles in any way you want. Though I don't think she knows what to think. Miles' declaration does explain why he was trying to keep Leah and Elijah apart - he was displaying some odd behaviour before. It's all came on very suddenly, this Miles after Leah idea.

Miles is getting ideas about Leah.

Miles announces he has feelings for Leah, who has always been his platonic friend. What will Elijah say about all this - well not much he can say after he's pushed Leah so far away from him. Leah seems quite happy about it so far. I can see a dual at dawn though between Elijah and Miles, somewhere on the horizon.

Well Liam is obviously going to be offended when he finds out Bianca asked Roo to arrange for him to play at the surf carnival, but we could do without his self pity. And April was coming along so well until Liam set her back again, we don't want her going back to all that rearranging the tins and onions in the cupboard again.

Nicole seems very unhappy.

Nicole looks devastated, really unhappy. It wasn't a good idea for her to stay with Sid and Marilyn after the baby was born. I'm so glad she is now with Roo, who is such a likable character and she really seems to have her feet on the ground. In fact Roo seems so sane compared with the gushing Marilyn. Sid seems to have buried his head in the sand a bit about the whole baby thing.

Well Indie, Romeo warned you this Keiran was bad news, get rid of him quick Indie and talk to Dex!

April seems to be making progress, abandonment issues, which we knew of course, poor April, terrified of losing Bianca. Yes they have a strong bond and Bianca really cares about April, but Bianca is just about to enter a difficult stage in her life with Liam deciding to act irresponsibly and buy illegal substances from Heath Braxton, unless it was smelling salts. Silly Liam.

I think Roo, Nicole, Angelo and maybe even Morag, will cook up a plan to get the baby back.

It's a boy! But will Nicole keep her baby?

So the baby has made its grand entrance into the world - well done Angelo for a good job on the beach. But Nicole is far from happy. Marilyn has assumed Nicole just wants to give up her baby, without looking around her to see what's going on or how Nicole might feel. Nicole is very vulnerable - what would she do without Angelo? Maybe Roo would step up.

While the Walkers pose for a family photo with new baby brother, Angelo and Roo know it's going to end in tears.

Country boy Keiran is more than a little strange, he is quite worrying. But there goes Indi lying, saying she was at home when she was at the seafront by the diner. Not a good idea to lie, she'll end up like Xavier all in knots with lies. Although he is making progress and has agreed to his mother chaperoning the trip to the music festival. He even sounds like he thinks she will be the life and soul of the party, what a change in the boy. Perhaps she will be the life and soul with Vanessa the undresser.

So what of poor Nicole, she will have to make a firm decision pretty quickly, before the baby gets settled with the Walkers.

The baby is on its way!

Well I don't think first babies usually come as quickly as all that. Nicole is sitting on the beach, then her waters break then suddenly the baby is coming! I think she and Angelo make a perfect couple, so maybe it's off to Italy they go together, except that I can't see why anyone would want to leave Summer Bay and live somewhere else.

Now they've caught psycho Billy the bay is safe again too. Morag and Ru were very laid back with Romeo after he'd hired Elijah's attacker to go out with them for the day. Good old Morag on the ball as usual. And Romeo does deserve the charter business after all.

So is Angelo really up to the job of delivering a baby? Well he doesn't have to do anything, just be there while Nicole does all the work. Good thing the cops caught Billy before he might have stumbled on Nicole mid contraction on the beach.

Nicole's baby is three days overdue and there's another psycho in town.

Well Romeo, Ru and Morag are all set for a jolly old day out on the water in the sun, it looks like such fun, except they don't know they have a psycho with them. You would think he would have the tell tale signs of someone sleeping rough about him, like very unkempt and unwashed, but no-one seems to have noticed anything.

I thought Elijah taught self defense classes? He said the bloke was beating him, but he didn't seem to be able to defend himself very well. Oh dear what a shame. That's another career option out of the window.

Ru is becoming like a mother figure to Nicole and seems to be the only one to truly have Nicole's interests at heart. Yes we can see Ru's predictions will come true, Nicole won't know how she will feel until the baby arrives. Major drama ahead then.

Brax and Charlie - do they have a future together?

This could be very interesting, commitment phobic Charlie secretly seeing possible criminal Brax. He says he's not a crook, hhmm, just his family has some sort of reputation. So Charlie must think it's just a bad reputation as she's not really the type to fraternize with law breakers. I wonder how long she thinks she can keep it all secret for. Of course Brax wants it all out in the open, that would be good for his reputation. Brax and Casey both seem pretty ok, so the family can't be all that bad.

So both Charlie and Angelo are moving on to pastures new in the romance field, presuming Angelo gets together with Nicole, which remains to be seen, if you live in the UK anyway!

As for Elijah getting knocked out by that bloke, well I was almost going to cheat and find the spoilers just to make sure he'll be all right, I was so concerned for him, and poor Leah!

Escape from Babyville to boat in the bay!

I wouldn't mind going out on Alf's boat in the bay, I can see why Nicole didn't want to stay cooped up with Colleen grilling her about birth certificates, and Marilyn who was in baby overdrive.

There's lots more heartache to come though, with Marilyn refusing to loosen her grip, although she did soften a bit after a talking to from Morag.

Charlie says she knows exactly the sort of person that Brax is, though she still seems confused, will she drop him again after she's had her evil way again? So while Charlie's feelings for Brax seem genuine, is he out to try to use her and get round the law? He seems convincing, but we don't know what's really going on with him. Charlie was so on her guard, but she seems to have thrown abandon to the wind, for a second time.

So the prospect of both Marilyn and Ru at the birth sounds like it could be eventful. And oh yes doctor Sid could be there too in his capacity as all round doctor of everything.

But Nicole still hasn't made her final decision about her baby. Although we all know of course by now that Marilyn is living in a fool's paradise.

Nicole confesses to Angelo that she wants to keep her baby.

Marilyn is like a train out of control steaming on ahead - talk about fixated on a baby which isn't even hers. She now seems to have no interest in Nicole's wishes or needs. She is turning into a bully. I can see Morag on the horizon now coming to save the day. It looks more and more likely that both Nicole and Sid will flee into the arms of Ru, just to get away from the sad, baby obsessed Marilyn.

Xavier is being a total toss pot. Well said Miranda he needs to hear a few home truths.

So Nicole wants Ru at the birth, would that be Ru and Marilyn or just Ru? Who is going to tell Marilyn that Nicole wants to keep her baby and how are they going to tell her? What will she do when she hears the news? Maybe she will go the same way April went.

Marilyn is anxious about the baby, Nicole and Sid.

Marilyn has gone from being a pair of comfy old slippers to just another pair of hands, in Sid's eyes, or so she feels. Now Marilyn also wants to know why Ru called Sid instead of taking Nicole to the hospital when she had the Braxton Hicks contractions.

Why does Sid keep knocking on Ru's door and discussing their friendship? Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Marilyn seems to be getting a bit desperate about Sid and Nicole both falling under the influence of Ru. Mind you Ru and Sid would make a better couple than Marilyn and Sid. Marilyn knows there's going to be trouble when the baby arrives, as does Ru, and her warning Ru to keep away from Nicole won't make any difference whatsoever!

Morag only made matters worse, talking to Ru as if she was a child. Looks like there will be lots of shenanigans to come!

At least April looks like she is on the road to recovery, although she has no idea what triggered off her obsessive compulsive behaviour.

Nicole has a few early contractions, but it's not time yet.

I think I would have done exactly what Bianca did and messed up all April's neat stuff too. Poor April with parents over the other side of the world who really couldn't care less about her, no wonder she is so troubled. Even when she nearly killed herself and Xavier when she tried to carry out an environmental terrorist attack, they still didn't appear.

Whereas Nicole's baby has no end of offers from people who want to be its parents. Marilyn is still champing at the bit and the end is in sight.

Sid asked Ru why she called him out to attend to Nicole's early contractions, instead of taking her to the hospital. Well in these soaps they always call out the local doctor, who is involved from everything to house calls, GPs surgery, emergency surgery, they are always a doctor for all occasions who can turn their hands to anything. (Same with doctor Karl in Neighbours.) Doesn't Sid know that? He's a doctor of all trades!
He thinks Ru called him out because she fancies him, and they are just about to have an interesting conversation when Nicole interrupts.

Sid is a spunk!

Ru thinks Sid is a spunk, but he's Marilyn's spunk, so she wouldn't dream of acting on it - or so she says and so she has Marilyn believing, maybe.

Romeo is going even more off the rails, what a meanie he is turning out to be. And Angelo could be on heat. First he tries it on with Ru, but to no avail, and now he seems a bit starry eyed around Nicole.

Thank the world for Miles, who tells Marilyn no she's not being over sensitive, Sid and Ru were the ones who were out of line. Poor Marilyn, desperate for Nicole's baby and now Sid is making her feel like she's a comfy pair of old slippers.

Blood and Sand

Charlie is uptight, that wasn't very nice throwing the cake Leah made in the bin. What about the people at the homeless shelter? They could have had it. She seems to be very confused about what she is doing with Brax, leading him on, then dropping him, nearly as bad as Romeo!
Marilyn is also uptight, and feeling even more insecure now. That has to be the most cringe worthy moment, when she starts to attack Ru over Nicole, only to find out everything is all sorted and fine and she's putting her big foot in it. She's starting to not trust Sid, at least where Ru is concerned.
So Brax's tatoo on his chest says: Blood and Sand, the mind boggles. It's difficult to see the other one properly on his lower back, we only get quick glimpses, what does it say? I think we saw it once.

Charlie and Brax - love or lust?

Charlie finally gives in to Brax. Before that though he couldn't believe she would fill out the form incriminating her own daughter. Loyalty is very important to Brax, so to what extent is he using Charlie to keep the eye of the law off his possible criminal activities? We still don't know what those are yet either.

So Nicole rubs fake tan into Angelo's chest just for him to cover it up by wearing one of her outrageous surf wear designs. Indi could have put a bit more effort into the model thing, she looked a bit half hearted. Classic John Palmer comedy moment followed though. He did not like the pink or the "Victorian" designs. Did Angelo's outfit have to be so high in the neck - oh well we'll see what she comes up with next.

Bad boy Heath ruins the party!

Everyone is lying to everyone. Xavier fancies himself as a great philosopher, or rather fancies that Miranda thinks he's a great philosopher, but John Palmer sees straight through him - wise up Gina.

April may never recover from being thrown in the pool by the wayward Heath and his mates. She was already on the verge of a nervous breakdown because there seemed to be 20 people at the party instead of 12.

At least Ruby seems to be over Romeo now and is totally absorbed with Casey. But she can't help getting into trouble. Everything was all fine with mum Charlie making a cake for the Braxton's barbecue and trying to make an effort, but now that's all ruined because of HEATH! And of course because of Ruby lying again and breaking and entering and trespassing big time.

What's it going to be? Dex and April? Dex and Summer? April and Xavier?

Charlie gets un uninvited to the Braxtons and Colleen gets the family tartan out.

Colleen gets all dressed up to go and serve food at the soup kitchen, but oh no wait a minute perhaps it is going to be a date after all...they're off for a meal, what is this Keith playing at, is he interested in Colleen or just being friendly?

So Brax uninvites Charlie to the family barbecue then un univites her, he likes to flex those muscles and is up to something with Angelo's. We're still not quite sure where he gets all his money from, importing furniture was mentioned. What sort of underworld activity could it be? This could all be heading for disaster, what with Casey and Ruby breaking and entering.

Elijah is being too gruff with Leah. Get over yourself already Elijah!

Oh dear, Romeo is suffering because of Indi

Romeo is now suffering the consequences of his stupid actions with Ruby and he is in pain, poor boy. He will have to think more next time and show a bit more self control, if he knows what's good for him.

Nicole seems to be taking things more in her stride and just smiles when a country farm type compares her to cattle. How nice to be asked ''you're not going to drop now are you.'' At least he got her a chair to sit on.

Marilyn is feeling a bit insecure, but Sid reassures her. Sid and Marilyn have often struck me as a slightly unlikely couple. A case of opposites attracting maybe. There's not the chemistry there between them, not like you can see the chemistry between, let's see, maybe Brax and Charlie, or even better the chemistry between Bianca and Liam.

Nicole doesn't want to keep her baby, end of story.

Morag always says it like it is. Thabo died despite coming to Australia and Grace is married to a man who is in love with someone else, and she will soon be in a detention centre. So Grace also sees the light and sets Elijah free.

Nicole announces she doesn't want to keep her baby, end of story. Angus thinks Nicole is in a messed up situation and he can't deal with it. And he doesn't even know who the father of the baby is.....yet. Will he be back on the scene?

As for Liam and Bianca - why are they living in separate houses? Is the tent just left there as it is, empty, strange. Watch out for Ru, still can't decide what's going to happen with her man-wise.

Head to Head, Nicole and Marilyn.

There could be trouble ahead. Is there anything significant about the 6 inbetween Nicole and Marilyn? It looks a bit strange there, what is it exactly? A message from Penn?

So Marilyn had to sit through the ante-natal class without her `birth mother,' clutching her handbag, and then birth mother appears and goes and sits somewhere else to do the exercises with new guy Angus. How odd that he would leap to join in an ante-natal class like that.

So Ru is not interested in Angelo, even if she did want to see his amenities. But I think he has bitten off more than he can chew in this new partnership with Brax.

Why do people tend to go mad when they move in with Irene? First Will went bonkers and smashed the place up, as well as killing someone. And now April looks like she too is going into la la land.

New Club for Love Rats, first members: Elijah and Romeo..

And we can throw Xavier in there too for his pig thick attitude towards Ruby. Actually it's all a bit silly, little boys saying it's all Ruby's fault, not Romeo's, very old fashioned and Victorian.
I like Ru's advice best, I understand how you feel, but I won't give you any advice as that will just make it worse!

Will Nicole decide to keep her baby?

OK so Ru (or should that be Roo?) only slept the night in Miles' bed so she could be on his comfortable orthopaedic mattress, we can believe that. So who will she take a fancy to?

Well Ru seems to have helped Nicole to maybe think for herself a bit more. It's Nicole's decision alone whether she keeps the baby or not. I was a bit shocked to see another side of sweet Marilyn the other day, she is always just so nice, but she was definitely putting herself before Nicole's needs about the baby. Nicole just wanted to go on a date, but oh whoopsie the date boy seemed all interested in babies and raising children, panic stations for Marilyn.

Will Ru find a man in Summer Bay?

So will Ru find a man in Summer Bay? Who will she go after? Miles? Angelo? Brax? John Palmer? Seeing as she seems to be so on the look out.
And what deep water Elijah has got himself into, and he's getting in even deeper. I would have thought it would have been against his Christian principles to marry someone you don't love, no matter what the reason.
This seems strange, a River boy who was brawling in Angelo's a few weeks ago is now in charge there. Angelo really rubbed him up the wrong way by failing the loyalty test. (He could have at least been a bit more devious and pretended to pass the test, and then sneaked around behind Brax's back in a less obvious way.) But no he was a sucker and Charlie came screeching up in her police car at just the right or wrong moment to be made to look a complete fool. Sweeties, not drugs.

Angelo fails the loyalty test

So what is Angelo playing at? Either he trusts Brax enough to be partners with him or he doesn't. I don't like all this one minute he's all pally with Brax and the next he thinks he's up to some drug deal and he's calling the police. Make your mind up time Angelo and if he's in partnership with Brax it looks like he's decided to trust him - unless he's living in a fool's paradise and he knows it.
Do we trust this new guy, Angus? The situation reminds me a bit of when Nicole first met Penn. Oh well Marilyn seems determined to put a spanner in the works.
As for Elijah, what a self absorbed wuss. Totally into himself.

Brax seems so nice.

So Charlie opens up a bit and talks to Brax, who seems like an amazingly nice guy, too good to be true? Well Charlie definitely needs to do something about her parenting skills as they don't seem to be working very well at the  moment.
Doesn't Miles need to sign something to say he has dropped the charges against Heath, or can he just walk in and make an announcement like that and walk off again?!
Gina does not like John laying down the law like he did, the car stays! Find another punishment Gina, for crying out loud.

Romeo, Romeo, what have you done?

Poor Ruby, she doesn't really deserve this from Romeo. OK she is s a little shakey in the love life area, first she went potty for Liam, then it was the driving instructor, and now someone who was apparently a friend who she had known for a long time, is the object of her desires. But yes she does have a strange mother, who does not set the best of examples. I think it's time for Ruby to have some good luck soon.

We can always count on Miles for advice and words of wisdom. It doesn't have to be a choice between love and lust he tells Romeo. He's got himself into a right mess, serves him right for being so hasty and making assumptions that weren't right.

Mind you I've always found Indie a bit annoying, she just doesn't seem that interested in Romeo although she says she is. Whereas Ruby is positively desperate for him!

Is Elijah even normal?

I think Elijah needs help, what a weirdo. He is in love with Leah, but marries someone he plainly does not love and isn't even attracted to. But oh yes we all know it's more complicated than that, but still, he is an odd ball.

Poor Bianca, she had a great night all planned out and it ended up turning into an evening with dips, sigh.

So does Brax really like Charlie, I mean really like, or is it just all about winning over a cop? I think he really likes her.

Sort yourself out Elijah!

Elijah is what my mother would have called a very naughty boy. Or put another way (very aptly by Miles) a bloke making dodgy decisions. He seems to have gone all pathetic and not knowing what the hell he is doing. Dreadful way to treat VJ, not to mention Leah.
I wonder how often people go to sleep in their caravan to be woken in the middle of the night by it being pulled off to somewhere else. Will Colleen be another victim left in the outback wilderness in the middle of nowhere for no apparent reason? At least she will have her van and all its comforts with her.

You wear the uniform Romeo so make it work, John Palmer tells the blond haired life guard, and Romeo does make it work or at least seems to have a good go at it with those surfer hooligans, until John rushes in and rubs them all up the wrong way again. Not the way to deal with deviant rebel rousers.
We are all just here to surf after all aren't we, says Romeo, yes they seem to agree with that, those surfer bad boys.
You really can see April's point of view, Xavier is such a nuisance, forcing himself on her secret plan and then ruining it all by stopping her from carrying out an irresponsible act of terrorism and nearly killing them both in the process. Poor April with those useless parents.
While Dex on the other hand has wonderful Dr Sid as his dad.

The riff raff are lowering the tone of Summer Bay.

So Sid wants Dexter to be more normal? Understandable maybe, but we all love Dex the way he is, an odd ball, and not that odd ball really, but it was a bit silly filming those nasty River boys in broad daylight like that.
And Colleen thinks she was nearly a goner and is feeling very stressed by all the riff raff in town, lowering the tone of Summer Bay. She really likes to take them head on.

New look Miles.

It took me a while to recognize Miles when he walked into Angelo's. Shorter hair on top, but a beard, also he looks dark haired now, when he was brown before. Poor Miles whacked on the head with a bottle, what a welcome home.
Colleen - a much better tactic would be to walk past that Braxton boy on the beach without making such a fuss and walking straight into the nastier older brothers. Don't you think Colleen would fit in well in one of those old silent Laurel and Hardy movies? I think she would be brilliant!

Always go with your gut instincts.

I always thought it was best to go with your gut instinct. So Detective Robertson is right to always do that in all aspects of his life. But how on earth could his gut instincts tell him that Alf killed Penn? That doesn't make a lot of sense, perhaps he was just too far removed from the circumstances and personalities. But at least he has a vulnerable side.
The real Shandi seems much nicer than the impostor. John Palmer seems a bit dazed by it all.
Will is still behaving as if he has a screw loose. Why would he jeopardize everything to protect a liar/impostor/out for what she can get type who he only met five minutes ago? And then tell the police that Alf  could be the culprit? Alf, who was extremely kind to him and gave him a job even when there wasn't really a job there. One could explain it that he fell for the charms of the fake Shandi, but isn't he supposed to be devastated about his wife leaving him?

The Plot Thickens

I am beginning to really like Morag. Someone needs to sort out Detective Robertson. You make sure you do him for wrongful arrest and all the rest of it. Charlie also seems to have the right idea, yes go to head office if you have to! No, no, Bianca there is no what if Alf is guilty. He isn't!
Yes what is it with those people Alf - they are going out of their way to give you the rough end of the pineapple. At least Irene has come to her senses at last. I always knew there was something shifty about "Shandi," trying to take advantage of big softie John Palmer. Can't say I'll be sorry if they throw the book at her.

Did Shandi do it?

What was the point of leaving Morag in the middle of nowhere in the dark exactly? Without her mobile phone. Will is getting very annoying, one minute smashing the house up, wallowing in self pity, running off so he doesn't have to testify, dearie me. So did Shandi murder Penn Graham in a struggle after he tried it on with her or something like that, and Will was there and in some way involved?
Bianca has a completely different personality, now that she's with Liam and not with Vittorio. Now it's April who's acting weird and mysterious. Durr Romeo keep telling Ruby she's being such a good friend getting Xavier to go off with another girl just as April is about to reappear.

Innocent until proven guilty

Slightly confused Sid doesn't really seem to know what's going on around him. Shocked look when he hears Marilyn's idea of adopting Nicole's baby - he didn't see that one coming. Good idea, ask John Palmer for advice, he's a relationship expert and known for his sensitivity. Although all the gushing between him and Xavier is enough to make anyone weep with tears of joy.
Morag - you could be a bit more delicate when trying to frame other witnesses. You could make it a bit clearer what you are doing before you go upsetting everyone and treating them (well Nicole) as if they are in the dock.

Bit of a Change of Mood!

Is it just me or does it seem like there is an awful lot going on at the moment, weddings, funeral, court case, an eloping couple, pregnant teenager by Penn (boo hiss.)
Thank goodness for Morag and her steel interior, at least someone is looking out for Alf.
But really Indy you should have your wits about you a bit more. Can't she see what Ruby is up to? Well I suppose if Romeo did trash his exams in the misguided belief he would spend an extra year with her, she's feeling all cosy and secure. Let's see what happens there.
Do you ever get that feeling like you've missed an episode when you haven't? Like when did Angelo and Charlie break up? Oh must've been during the six weeks when they weren't filming! Well we could see they were headed that way I suppose.

Helping to offset carbon emissions by planting trees...

The average blog emits eight pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere per year, so although the internet saves paper it isn't as clean as all that, with all the electricity it uses.

The average tree takes eleven pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere per year. Hence a conservation group is planting a tree for every site which displays their logo - which says this website is carbon neutral - and reminds people about the extent to which we are polluting the environment all the time.

The group is replanting the Plumas National Forest in California, which was badly destroyed by forest fires.

This sounds like a good idea. But we still need to walk when it's not essential to drive, turn all the lights out, turn off the computers, etc etc! Don't leave the tap dripping!

I do, I don't, I do

What an episode! So much happened in this one, it could have been a Christmas special, except they don't seem to have them for H and A.
Go Romeo! He got stuck in there. Why oh why did Bianca leave it until she had said I do to realise she meant I don't, well I suppose to make it all dramatic with Liam and the punch up and rushing off on the motorbike, how romantic, why do these things never happen in real life. Poor sad Vittorio, was that a look of get lost mate to him from Alf? He must have been desperate, to manhandle his bride and drag her kicking and screaming back to the alter.
Can they do that? John and Gina, just step in and make the wedding ceremony for themselves? Well they do it all the time in films so it must be ok.
And as for that gutless mongrel Will - what has he done? Alf can't have done it.
And Nicole pregnant by Penn (boo, hiss) how's she going to deal with that I wonder.

Welcome Home and Away Fans!

Sun, sea, surf, romance, surf, what more could anyone want to watch at lunchtime every day when stuck with our wonderful British weather?
If I could choose where to live it would be Summer Bay, Australia.
I think Colleen was a bit harsh on poor old Marilyn though. "You're dead to me!" she said, after Marilyn had just escaped that exact same fate, thanks to being pulled out of the water by doctor Sid. Why did Marilyn have to ease her own conscience though and tell Colleen she had replaced her mother's ashes in the urn she accidentally smashed with ashes from a dogs home? It was a very nice dog though, according to Dex. Why not just leave Colleen in blissful ignorance. As it was she was furious, the outrageousness of such a thing.
